REFERENCE HANDOFF — public teaching answer, self-review only. Cedar v1.0, 9 October 2026.

Purpose: assess whether Cedar can launch while retaining the selected $5,000 month-end cash floor. Under Base, the first month closes at negative $5,920 before extra financing, so additional opening funding is $10,920. Defer commitment until funding and within-month payment timing are resolved. This calculation is not project valuation or a financing commitment.

Inputs are fictional S1 opening balances, S2 equipment/capacity, A1 scenario assumptions and A2 proposed financing. One case selector supplies all Active drivers. Launch controls incremental operations, capex and the proposed loan. Operations feeds Collections; Collections and debt feed Funding; Decision selects active-period outputs. There are no external workbook links, macros or live refresh dependencies.

Limitations include monthly resolution, a maximum twenty-four months, full collection of opening receivables, and no taxes, inventory, payables or terminal proceeds. The forecast endpoint does not liquidate balances. Review demand, capacity, payment evidence and the cash floor before relying on the decision.

Circularity policy: no intentional cycles, iteration off, interest on opening debt plus the beginning-of-month draw, with capped principal repayment at month end. Tested Base/Downside/Upside, short/long horizons, price and collection changes, missing versus zero inputs, launch off, and four planted/repaired faults. Numerical tests passed; design quality and this handoff require analyst review.
